Billionaire Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, announced on Friday that he is considering launching a meme coin inspired by the structure of President Donald Trump’s recent cryptocurrency project, $TRUMP. The proposed meme coin will follow a similar model, with a 20% float at launch, meaning only 20% of the total supply (1 billion tokens) will be available initially. The remaining 80% will be locked and released over three years to prevent sudden sell-offs and potential price crashes. Cuban’s project will have a unique twist: all proceeds from the coin sales will be directed to the US Treasury.
